Terms of Use
Last updated: September 23, 2026
These terms govern the use of the iDishYou app and the idishyou.com website, operated by MAD for Business LLC (Wyoming, United States). By creating an account, you accept them and our privacy policy.
1. The service
iDishYou connects independent home cooks ("chefs") with individuals ("customers") who want to buy home-made dishes for pickup or delivery.
iDishYou is a technical intermediary: we do not prepare, sell or deliver any food. The sale is made directly between the customer and the chef.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18 years old, provide accurate information and keep your password confidential. One account per person. You are responsible for activity carried out from your account.
3. Chefs' obligations
The chef is solely responsible for the dishes they offer: compliance with food hygiene and safety rules, with the permits and registrations required in their country, and with their tax obligations.
They must describe their dishes accurately, in particular allergens and ingredients. Descriptions suggested by artificial intelligence must be checked and corrected by the chef before publication.
They commit to the preparation times they announce and to confirming each handover by entering the customer's pickup code.
iDishYou may require identity verification (identity document, kitchen photo) before granting the "verified chef" badge.
4. Orders and payment
Prices are set by the chef. The customer pays the chef directly, in cash, at pickup or delivery.
The chef entering the pickup code confirms the order was handed over.
If an order has not been handed over in time (2 hours after the planned preparation time), the customer can report it as not received in the app: the order is then cancelled.
5. Commission and chefs' wallet
iDishYou charges a 10% commission on the amount of each completed order. Each chef's first 5 orders are free. An order counts as one of these free orders as soon as it is accepted.
The commission is taken from a prepaid wallet that the chef tops up by card, via Stripe. The wallet security and maintenance fee (card processing fee, about 3–5%) is paid by the chef and deducted from the amount credited.
The wallet balance is only used to pay commissions and penalties. It cannot be withdrawn. Any unused balance is refundable on request when the account is closed, minus payment fees.
When the balance is zero or negative, the chef cannot receive new orders until their next top-up.
6. Orders not handed over and penalties
When a customer reports an order as not handed over, a penalty of 10% of the order amount is taken from the chef's wallet. Repeated reports may lead to suspension of the chef's account.
False reports and repeated no-shows by a customer may lead to suspension of their account.
7. Yumis
Yumis are an internal virtual currency, earned for example by watching ads or using the app, and usable for certain features. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged, resold or refunded, and may be changed or removed.
8. Content and conduct
You keep ownership of the photos and texts you publish. You grant iDishYou a free, worldwide licence to display and promote them in the app and on the website while they are published.
Prohibited: illegal or dangerous products, misleading or offensive content or content that infringes others' rights, harassment, fraud and any attempt to bypass security or payment systems.
The iDishYou brand, logo and app belong to MAD for Business LLC.
9. Advertising
The app shows ads provided by Google AdMob, according to your consent choices.
10. Liability
The quality, safety and compliance of dishes are the sole responsibility of the chef. Disputes between customer and chef should first be settled between them. You can report any issue to contact@idishyou.com.
To the extent permitted by law, iDishYou's liability is limited to the commission received on the order concerned. Nothing in these terms limits the rights granted to you by the consumer protection law of your country.
11. Suspension and termination
You can delete your account at any time. iDishYou may suspend or close an account in case of breach of these terms, fraud or risk to users' safety.
12. Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming (United States), without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
We may change these terms. For significant changes, you will be informed in the app. Contact: contact@idishyou.com.
